One of the largest opportunities for the Canadian lived Experience Leadership Network is supporting Housing, Infrastructure and Communities Canada with meaningful collaborations on the lives experiences of unhoused or formally unhoused people from an intersectional and diverse lens.
Bringing together a pan-Canadain representation of people; veterans, women and gender diverse people, people experiencing gender based violence, people in rural and remote communities, people living in encampment communities, people who experience stigma, and discussions on consent of people experiencing homelessness.
Through their stories, the Federal Ministry will bring a set of lived voice recomendations to the minister, to directly shape and support policy and programs. This work will continue throughout 2025.
